This is a good beginner project for new animators in Maya. Here we create a start pose for a ball throw, and then move onto keying the animation. Once the animation has been blocked out we go in and refine it by loosening up the motion. During this part you'll learn to work in the Graph Editor and with the Dope Sheet. By the end of this tutorial you'll have enough information to start creating your own animations in Maya.
