Toon Outline For Face Cheek Bone?

Hello,

How can I add toon outline for the face of my character for her cheek bone? I want it to be visible like a 2D cartoon.
Is it something that I have to setup in maya "assign outline", "shaders" or from the model itself?

i just want it to look like this one: check superman's outlined cheek bone...

just thinking, have you tried drawing it on? Im not sure if it will work from all angels but it may.

I think the cheek model would have to pop or extrude out a good distance for the lines to show up on the cheek bone. You may want to play around with the curve tolerance and Min edge angle, in the vector render attributes.
