adding to a rig after weighting

hey, i'm in the middle of painting the weighting for my mesh, but wanted to add a few more bones in for 2ndary action (flapping coat tails).
can i change the rig and reuse my old weighting? if anyone has any other recommendations for animating "flapping bits" like collars etc. gimme a shout. this is supposed to be a game model, so not sure about using deformers... thanks |
