hmm... not sure about the lighting... the model looks good but the render doesn't look that good imho. Especially that white burnt out area on the body...

I know that this isnt a general opinion poll considering he is submiting for gallery. But does anyone consider that that was his intent to render it that way? I'm sure it could go for touch up and all but, IMO it looks very moving. This image puts me back to the time when my old band had to practice in an attic with similar floor and very poor lighting.

oh well...
who cares if it's not good enough for gallery.
i love this render, the lighting sets the exact mood i wanted !. i don't know what that dark burn on the white of the body is though...

Its not that its not good enough.. we where just adding some idea's to make it even better...

I dont like the white on the lighting, if you look at the body of the guitar it's very brightly lit by something. But then look at the neck there's no change in the lighting whatsoever.

There's not enough bounce light, the back end of the guitar blends into the ground too much.

I would expect some spec "pings" from the machine heads on the top of the neck nothing major but some.

I also think that the pickguard is too thick. Look at a real guitar and you will see that they dont slope up on the sides either they have a much harder straighter edge.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Where the light is blown out on the body is also pretty blocky.
