Game Boy Color
I had to model a toy for a class project, so I chose a game boy color. It's not ready for smoothing yet, as it's missing buttons.
I also havent thought of a way to do the engraved nintendo logo yet. |

Looks cool, but can you post a wireframe pic of the front?
|
As Jr.Who mentioned, a front wire would be nice to see. It looks like a lot of lines for the amount of flat surfaces you have unless they are from shaping the front side.
Also, as you're modeling keep an eye on that edge that's cutting through the holes. It looks like the edge is a little to high (too close to the buttons) right now. Overall, looks like you've got a pretty good start. Looks like it will turn out nice. |

i didn't think nintendo color was known for its smoothness, haha.
but ya, there is a way to square that second one off and give it a hard edge. ill maybe add a picture later when i have a chance. |

Haven't begun modeling again yet. |
take a look at this scene, look at the way it was made with extrudes and inserting edge loops close to the edge to give it a smooth look.
and note the clean look to the mesh. http://www.modelexis.com/simplymaya/hardedges.mb |
Thanks, but I can't open it, because it seems to be corrupted.
