I finished the basic texture and changed the shape of the model a bit.
I now will be going for more details and differences in the textures and i might try a test render soon. |
First test render:
Couch still needs to be abandoned ;) http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/2...nderzq6.th.jpg |
looking good so far.
Doublecheck the bump map settings on the brick wall. Looks like it might be backwards as the grout appears to be protruding from the wall. |
Thanks Perfecto!
The bump map on the wall was idd backwards. I didn't even notice haha. I'll take a break now and continue in a few hours :) |

nice job so far shadowspy :)
the brick is also looking a bit green and the textures on the frame look a bit stretched. good choice for a model. should be fun beating up those cushions and adding some more dodgy stains. |
Thank you arran!
The green look is because i made light a bit too greenie. It's not too bad on my iBook, but I haven't looked on my other PC yet so i don't know what it's like on other pc's...:headbang: I'll tone it down ;) I never "destroyed" anything with modeling so this will be new for me :) |
The split polygon tutorial in the "Free video section" might be something to look at if you have't allready. ;)
Helped me out when I started my project. :) |
I know how to use split polygon ;)
Tnx anyway amoeba!! |
I am trying to get the couch destroyed and abandoned-looking atm, but I don't know how. I have some more ripps and more dark spots (don't wanna know what happened there xD) but i don't have a clue what to do next.
It doesn't look old enough =/ If anybody has some suggestions, they would be very welcome :) Thnx. |
