Fcheck playback

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,

I have a scene, 1000 frames, rendered at 1024 x 576
Its rendedred in maya .iff When I play it in the Fcheck, it doesn;t play at real time.

I'm running an AMD athlon XP 2200 with 512 megs of DDR memory on Windows 2000.

Basically, all the frames look like this one....
Those elevators just go up and down kind of slowly.

Can anyone help me out here?

well, it can only play as fast as it can. lol

WIth resolutions of that size, you're not going to get realtime playback unless you've got a monster of a machine (not that yours is not good).

Allright, I guess I'll have to live with that..

So what is the best way to present my movie?
Should i import it all into after effects and then export all as a avi or mov?

did you see the free movie about compositing, might give you some good ideas mate

yup, better compress the sequence to an mpeg or divx or something...

But once i do all that, i soud play smoothly, right?

the best way is to try, and then experiment with differnt compression setting, it will take a while until you are happy with your end product but you will learn so much along the way
