Nice!

Wow, thats looking really good man, is it all nurbs modeled? If so are you gonna use Displacement mapping for the skin, I've seen that done before and it looks so sweet!

ade90054 14-04-2003 03:30 PM

OK, just saw your wire, i'm being stupid, sorry!

Kurt 14-04-2003 03:39 PM

No worries mate.. It started out as a nurbs model the first few pictures...now its polys

Vectorman 14-04-2003 11:21 PM

How did you start with NURBS and end up with such a low-poly result!?

mtmckinley 15-04-2003 12:31 AM

Looking good, Kurt. :)

for those curious, I've got a Converting Nurbs to Polys mini-vid at my site. ;)

Link in sig.

Keep it up, Kurt!

Its pretty easy just have standard fit clicked on in you nurbs to polys optioned box.

M 15-04-2003 02:49 AM

What, you call that high poly?!?!? Look at that wireframe, sheesh! Well, i certainly have to learn a lot, this just inspired me to whip out the book i bought... time to learn :). BTW, good job so far :D.. i like this technique of general shape, then detail... never thought of doing that :P.
