editing marking menu

How can I edit the RMB popup marking menu (select objects components) as to add a new item.
In the tut video I'm watching there is an additional "object mode" tag.
In vers 4.0 (complete) this tag doesn't exist. Where do I find the mentioned marking menu as it is not ion the MM Prefs
