Yeah set up some lights in the scene and then use the Convert to file texture in the hypershade with shadows highlighted,

Okey thanks for the answer but there is one thing i dont understand and that is, where is the shadow node? O_o
I guess it is somewhere in the hypershade but i dont know where.... I tried this one + selecting the object but the texture is still plain grey.

you need to click the option box inb the convert to file texture command in the edit menu of the hypershad, theres an option fo bake the shadows.

Hmm is it possible to snapshot so that it includes the texture?
The reason why i want to do this is so i get the image in a better resulotion then the 512 that seems to be the best for the shaded texture.

The image below is a print screen.

No one got an idea how to create a shaded texture with better resulotion then 512? (Need 2k)

Help would be most apriciated. :)

Its in the options for the convert texture to file i n the X and Y resolution

Yes but the problem is that i can only go to 512 and not further. :S
And sadly I need a 2k resolution to fit the other texture in photoshop.

Try typing it in.

A lot of things in maya got further than the sliders
