Trim Help

1 Attachment(s)
I'm trimming a surface, but am having problems.

I created the surface using a boundary and 4 splines.

I then made a curve and projected it onto the surface, and then I used the "trim tool" to trim the surface.

The problem is the result is a hole with angles I don't want.

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Personally, I would advoid trimmed surfaces as much as possible. That is a shape that you should be able to make without using Trim, too.

But, if you insist. ;) You need to increase the tesselation.

Ok how would I increase tesselation and what would that be on?

Tesselation on the surface?

Tesselation in the trim tool?

It should render correctly, but chect the tesselation in the surface attributes, by turning on the Display tesselation, and perhaps try turning on Smooth Edge aswell

Good Luck
