Hey all,
Thought I would do this one (need the practice and its freeeee) :p The model has not been combined and is in Sub-D geometry, I am just at the end of the Part3 heading to part 4 so I will stick in here once I have finished it. Anyway here are a couple of shots... |
Wow great job! I like the muscles and the upper body. Looks great. When I did mine it looked horrible lol. Good job :)

how about having the shoe as a subdiv?
|
Nice progress so far, are you going to take it beyond the tutorial such as adding more details and texturing?
|
Thx for the gr8 crits n comments folks.
The entire model will be back to ploy and smoothed but I will be taking the shoe to a sub-D to do the same process. Gster yes pal, the plan is to texture him, rig him and use him to train in a little animation. As long as Kurt is happy with it, as it is his... |

Hey Folks,
I have decided to go for a toon Weightlifter/Bodybuilder with this guy, as he reminds me more of that than Frankenstein. I have done the T-Shirt and moving onto the shorts. Basically, create a UVMap in Poly Mode and Convert to Sub-D as a Proxy Object telling the Sub-D to Inherit the UV's from the Poly. I think this is easier than UVMapping a Sub-D Object. I will try generating a 3D texture for it, but Ill stick with this just now... Here is a couple of piccies and a render under that... |
