Maya|MentalRay|Exterior

Hello, here its another render i did, but this time an exterior.Playing with Paint FX and Fur.This is the final image as im not changing anything, cause im really tired of it.hehe
I need to say that fur was really fast to render, i tried to create the grass using displace maps, but my computer was melting trying to calculate that.As always C&C are welcome. :)

wow dude. I thought that was a photo reference.lol
That's really cool. :D

Are you guys using the paint FX for the plants?

And concorddawn, how did you do your scenes. It looks really cool, like a lot of use of liquid and paint FX's.

oh and how long did it take you guys to do this?

SlipKnot66 18-03-2006 10:51 AM

Cheers Fellas,

I use Maya for all my modelling and then export into vue which is a great program for atmospheres, landscapes etc.

So im able to create a lifelike scene for my maya objects.

Vue has got a great renderer aswell even tho its slow as a turtle..

Lookin forward to seeing more of your work slip.

Awesome work Slip,

I reckon the scene would look awesome if there was a small water feature or pond etc in there aswell.

Cheers
