shadows?
hmm, quick Q, which of the attributes for a spot light changes the intensity of the shadows? trying to make some darker ones.

ehhh?
Turn down the ambient light, or turn down your fill light. It's the OTHER lights in the scene that determine how light or dark your shadows are. Shadows are, after all, in shadow from the casting light. -- Mark |
you can change the shadow color to a lighter grey.. that may simulate less intense shadows.

i do believe theres an attribute called intensity :)
|
yeah, decreasing your light's intensity will obviously decrease shadow intensity. I was assuming he wanted to keep his light intensity high, yet have lower intensity shadows.

ohhhh, erm, change the shadow colour i wuda thought, or you could be clever and link up the shadow colour with the intensity of the lighty so the shadow drops in brightness as the intensity drops...which would happen anyway so ill shut up now :)
