Hey guys, I guess this is a little late but i just found this thread :)

I was thinking of putting in a late entry, so looked for a bit of ref material.
Decided that going from making spheres, to a detailed character was a bit of a leap though ;)

I thought I'd share this site that I came across:

It has insane amounts of reference photos and details of characters costumes from the movies.
I know you will need to modify them to suit the comp, but a LOT of useful material there.

well, only looked at legolas so far, cause I was gonna make him, but other characters are listed, so I'm assuming they all have equal amounts of detail.
