Fatal Errors
 

Every time I try to use particle emitters of area lights, really any object that appears in the work area like those do, I get a fatal error that tells me there was an error saving the project. How can I fix this?

Well, is your version of Maya a crack? I don't mean that to try to expose you or anything, but cracks do tend to have errors of a strange nature.

If not, perhaps a call to Alias' customer support would help.

The version I use is the one they have at my school. I don't know if it is a crack, but I doubt it is. Thanks for the advice though--I will probably give Alias a call.
