How about specific Maya Sessions?

I came across a forum dedicated to modeling by Bay Raitt and I see that they have these "sessions" where a moderator selects a topic and people go in and work with that same subject.. Like for example, one topic would be heads modeling..So then a thread is started and everyone posts their current head wip for the session and people give crits and all this.

Basically its like working together in one environment trying to create one thing in order to improve on it..

How about it? Who likes this idea? I might just start a thread on the WIP section stating "WIP: HEAD Sessions" or something and see if people would join.

Anyway, what do you guys think? I think it would help alot of people. :)

There hasnt been any new sessions for a long time mainly I think because Bay Raitt is very busy and the other mods too are very busy.

Personally I dont see a point in doing this if we have monthly challenges...

but if you want to and other do, go right ahead :D

Well monthly challenges give more of a broad topics..Like in this LOTR challenge, people are doing different characters and or whatever, but still same subject LOTR..

The point of the sessions would be like to focus on making Heads only for example..or Hands, or something that people mainly have trouble creating so that we can all learn from each other..

But yeah I hope it comes through..ill give it a try still hehe :)
