What is best way to paint landscape
 

Hi guys...me again LOL...sorry this is a pain for me too...I hate asking too much.

Ok I have a landscape I might put 'ol Space Marine into with some broken rocks and stones (I havent worked out how to get the shatter to hit the ground david...I will). Now what would be the best way to do this paint...just UV as usual (which might not work due to the terrian)..Im not sure about the UV part...cos I dont know which part is which of course.....so you dont want green where it should be brown...

Secon I have applied a straight lambert and created a sun for light...why have I got colour missing?? in particular the bottom righ is actually a hole??

The way you could do it is uv first then use maya paint to highlight parts that you want as rock then take it into photoshop........dave
