Live any good?
 

hi, in previous post someone told me that 'Live' in Maya is used to insert filmed video into your 3D scene.
I take it this is kinda like composer, but is it any good?

it's more like Matchmover.

Maya Live allows you to match video with cg elements. compositing is different.

yeah its lets you track the camera from a live footage so you can create a virtual camera from that to be used in ur 3d scene

tis quite similar to Boujou .. only way less expensive
