Just want to ask if anyone knows of a free webhosting site that i can upload AVI or QT files? My Webpage dosetn let me upload them.

www.angelfire.com lets you upload quicktime and avi files.

ALso kurt, I remember Yahoo, having a "more hidden" breifcase program that you could download.. in which i uploaded full tv episodes too :). It allowed up to 5 mb files, and quite abit of space for free. If you can find it (shouldnt be too hard).. either in www.geocities.com.. or www.yahoo.com. Then its called, yahoo breifcase. Its very conveniant.. and theres even a program that allows you to drag files from your desktop over to the program. ANd if your avi/qt is bigger than 5 mb.. then you can go to download.com.. and download a file splitter program. Once again I found a freeware one on there that worked GREAT. You upload the batch file, and then these seperate files.. and once someone downloads all of them, then you run the batch file.. and it puts it back into one :D.... very cool way of doing something for free. Hope this helps kurt. I know that yahoo really used to hide that breifcase service, and i made something like 5 accounts once i found it.. and I was hosting full videos..... it was great. If i can find it again i will post it on here :).

There should be a program download once you sign up, or somewhere around there.. like i said.. very cool :D. I will now look for the file splitter program :D.

Alright, well... in 2 years it seems LOTS of free splitting programs have sprung up :D. Here ya go kurt.. this one should work fine.

I dont know if you want to go to the hassle.. but its a GREAT way.. once its done :). Just make a main download page.. where people can go to.. to click on part (1, 2, 3 , 4...) and then the batch file :). And yea, yahoo breifcase gives you 30 mb per account.
