Ello,
not much of a subject but just fancied doing it anyway :) Not perfect but better that nowt. any suggestions? cheers rich |
Ah, very cool... you should design a tool kit :D.. with a lot of those copied, with different colored handles, and different bits at the end. In a red case :). Its nice, looks pretty real :).

Well, since you have the screwdriver, I guess there's a question that needs asking here. Wanna screw?

ello,
right I want to add a little white text onto the handle of the screwdriver. Its modelled in polys and there is a bump applied onto a phong texture. I have awhite on black label and the best I can come up with is this following image - obviously this sucks!! I want to place just one of those little white labels further to the right up the handle. Any ideas?? cheers rich |

well this is DEFINITELY finished now :)
Just one question - how do I stop that little white texture from going all the way thru the mesh and out onto the other side?? any c&c welcome cheers rich |
Man, that looks 100% better! Nice work. How do you fix the texture? Depends, how did you texure it, as far ast the UV map goes, is it projected, or.. what? Thanks,

cheers for the reply,
yeah I projected it using a layered texture - you can see the shader network below. Could I have set out the UVs in the UV texture editr - taken a snapshot and created the texture in photoshop?? I know nothing about texturing. cheers rich |
