playblast frames # ?

when creating playblasts, is there any way to display frame numbers ?

mtmckinley 13-11-2002 04:10 PM

hmm... I'm not sure about that one....

nope me either. As a ex-max user I miss this feature.. but it must be possible somehow, but I might need a script

you can bring up FPS in a viewport, so I'd assume it would be included in a playblast. Cant remember off the top of my head how to do it and I dont have maya on this machine here.. I'll have a look when i get home :)

I tried to fine it too but was only able to find FPS too. I'll keep on it.

yes all "heads up display" will show in playblast too

Kurt 13-11-2002 07:12 PM

Yeah but I cant get it to show the frames as it playes, just the 1.3 fps it wont do the count from 1 to what ever.

kal 13-11-2002 07:36 PM

do you mean have fcheck display how many frames per second its playing at?

mtmckinley 13-11-2002 07:47 PM

yeah, I suppose you could go into your playblast options and choose to playback with Fcheck... that might get you what you want.

Mike I think thats the only way I know too.

There are a few frame counter scripts on Highend3D for just this purpose!

Kurt 15-11-2002 02:16 PM
