i need som help following the tut orial here is the link

i am stuck about half way down.

Next, Select The nurbsSphere1, and in Particles > Instancer(Replacement), in General Options > Scale Choose TheScale that we made earlier, select create,
i cant find where to chose scale and after dion the rest of the tut it ends up nothin like it so how do i do this bit plz
