Hand
 

Hello everybody. I've been working on a body for a little while now. The hand is the most complete piece but I am having some issues with the thumb as I'm sure you'll quickly be able to see. I am fairly happy with the rest of the hand but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas or tips for improving the look of the thumb specifically or the rest of the hand.

yea the trick is, is to have the thumb to come out of the pulm of the hand... hard to explane so ill let u take a look at this hand that i never 100% finshed.

thanks. I never really noticed it to be so far off. But compare my own hand to your model vs mine, I see there is a large difference now. Thanks for the tip, I'll update it in the near future. I am working on another project at the moment.

Nail of the little finger is much longer then the rest, kinda weird. :)

from what ive heard, people grow out this nail to scoop small amounts of cocaine. i think the op does a bit of drugs.

One fingernail, usually the pinky, allowed to grow long and used to snort cocaine out of.

You can tell he hasn't cleaned up, he's still got a cocaine fingernail.

thumb looks fine to me but theres quite a bit of wierd bumping on the smoothed model:beer:

thanks for all the replies, and no it is not a crack nail. However the nail is fairly proportional to the size of the rest of them, but I can make em a bit longer so that the pinky doesnt look so odd.

As someone else pointed out, the thumb is what needs to most work, from above it looks ok, but from the under side it needs work. Just keep tweaking it, you'll get it.
