Modeling Technique Tips
 
I am in the midst of a project that requires me to model an american style football helmet. any tips on how to do this using Polys?

thanks for that tip. I've begun box modeling, can you elaborate on the benefits to converting over to sub-d's?

subD's are spline based, so they look almost as good as nurbs. other advantage, they retain UV's from low rez poly object, and u can use that same lorez object to use as an influence object. (i.e. wrap deformer)
and u don't have to heavy geometry, since the subDwill be from a low rez poly
