Hi there!

I am modeling the symbol of the "Departure of Precrime" from Minority Report.
Therefor I need to know, how I can model a text aound a circle. The Letters "Departure of Precrime - Destrict of Columbia" have to follow the red arrow in the picture below.

Please help me!

Thanx,

Markuz

Ok, sorry for double-posting. I wasn't sure if the thread was right here...

BTW, here an updated picture of my symbol;):

Perhaps with some kind of a deformer??
Please help me...

ahhh... I think I've got it: I simply have to create every letter one by one and rotate them around the center of my symbol about 2 Degrees or something like this....

Hey, Markuz...

That's the only way I can think of... you could try to use deformers, perhaps, such as the bend deformer, but I don't think it would bend it in a complete circle and not warp the text some. The only other thing I can think of, is to perhaps create the text, make it all one object, attach it to a motion path, make it flow path object and see if it looks right...

Yeah, thanks for the tipp. I also though about an animation path, but I wasn't able to manage it with the text. But I think it looks right now with my method...
You can see the final result in the "Finished Work" Section...
And please tell me if you know the original font:)

Best Regards

Markuz
