i don't want to model the mushroom .I have a missle and i want to crash into town and make those nuclear effect ..

If you have unlimited then have a look in the visor, thers one in the fluids menu, you might have to a bit of reverse engineering to get the feeling for the levels but you should get it.

I too am urgently looking for a nuclear explosion tutorial for maya which used a fluid container. I had one once in pdf but cannot find it now

I can only give you my maya file ... i don't have any tutorial or smth like that ... it's just from my Viser coz i have Maya unlimited :attn:

i do like that render you posted... could you post a link to the final animation? i've always wanted to try that preset but was hesitant to bog down my computer to do it... i just wanna see how it looks finalized.

Theres a tutorial on computer arts called in the blast Zone thats creating a nuke using fluids, I did it a while back and it dodnt look too good IMHO, compared to getting one from the visor and then adjusting it to suit.

That render does look good. I'm actually thinking of a nuke to go along with this destroyer I'm modelling now and I was thinking, how would you have the whole scene whited out by the blast for extra realism? You can't do it in post production since the white light has to come from inside the cloud.

like i said up there in the post this is from visor ... i don't have a clue how to construct this thing :) :p

Yeah it has the "flash" built in in the example in the visor.
