Maya 8-projected splines to cut into objects
 

Hi! I dont know what I didnt try so far to cut a curve into an object with curve projection and the trim tool. My object doesnt get cutted. After X tries I could not find a way to get that goal.Maybe somebody can tell me in a few steps how to do it right, I am still left with the projected curve on the object and I dont know why I cannot cut it with the trim tool
