how far is my render?

I'm doing a render, and wondering. How can you see how far the rendering is?

I know you can see it's reached frame "something", but does it calculate somwhere an estimatet finish time or something like that, so you have just a clue how long it's going to take?

I don't know if there is a way to know how long it's going to take (I think there probably isn't a way), but if you want to know how long it took "after" you finished rendering then all you have to do is open the file "mayaRenderLog.txt" inside your my documents>maya folder

The script editor will tell you what frame it's on, but there is no native tool in Maya to calculate time remaining.
