MR and animation
 

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have not been around for a while but my Internet conn has been down.

Ok.The issue now is how to use MR in a animation.

Any idea of how to speed up animation time like for istance is there a way of caching some info so it does not have to recalculate it all the time.

It seems that when I do a batch render maya translate the file for every seen and that almost doubles the rendering time !!

So any techniches anyone knows are up for discussion and network rendering is one of the arguments too.

Anyone has a grip on how to use more then on machine with MR?

Anythird party software to control it?

Any news on Mental Ray Server?
