Riggin and Texturing
1 Attachment(s)
Been working on this on and off for about a week. It is a pain to paint the skin weights, especially around the legs. Can anyone see problems with it so far. I still have a heap of work to do on the textures.

It could just be the angle but she looks a bit cross eyed, almost like her eyes need to relax a bit. Otherwise pretty good.
|
its looks a bit like the image is stretched up.. also in the front the head looks huge compared to the body
|
I think the head is proportional. If there is anything I remember from my art classes it's that the body is roughly 6 1/2 to 7 head lengths so he has it pretty close to right.

Allo,
the eyes arnet crossed, its just the crappy jpeg from maya. im gonna render a better quality pic after i do some more texture work. When i stuck the pics into photoshop it said somthing about a pixel aspect ratio being changed so i had to manualy re scale them. that is why they look a bit distorted. i'm not worrying too much about the model at the moment cause this was practicing texturs and rigging. |
component editer
did you try the component editer instead of painting on the weights.its easier for me that way.
|
Yes i have that also when i open in photoshop very annoying.. you can go to Image -> Pixel image ratio -> Square and then ir looks normal again.

looks very good some guy, though the knee is looking a bit bumpy - especially in the bent knee pose - it almost looks like the bone is pushing forward. Did you build her from that makehuman site?
|
Yeah
After i am done with this i am going to try to make one from scratch. |
Hey some guy, looks good, would like to see a full rendr of one of the posed postions, as like you said, the first image is a bit squashed up.
