HOW DO I ROUND PUT THE EDGES OF A POLYGON

im making the wheels of a desk chair and i need to know how to round out the edges

hm.. maybe if u convert to nurbs then change into isoparm add a few lines on the sides then turn into vertise then u can drag the sides one by one?
i'm total noob so there is prolly a better and faster way but if u want give my way a try

i figured it out first i made a curve then roveolved it and scaled it thx anyway tho here is a pic

i just usually take a poly cylinder, extrude an edge and scale it down a little and pull it out.. usually get a nice rounded edge.(after you play with the normals anyway)

um wouldnt the Bevel option help round it? It should i think.

Yes but Maya's bevel isn't all it's cracked up to be...it works though.

it also has a lot of... questional results and unpredictable to me sometimes.

Bevel also ads a lot of faces too.
