Material probs.
 

I'm having perculiar problems with my materials in the hypershade, when I select a new lambert etc, it comes with an accosiated texture group automatically in the working area, which turns the lambert or current material 'black' and i cannot import a file etc to assign to the material. If i delete the connection strings i still cannot add a file. Any ideas?
