i am curious.... how do insert a nurbs plane into my scene?

Create > Nurbs Primitives > Plane

i tried that but how do insert an image on to the plane... i did that too. but how do display it in the working environment??

you would have either create a image plane.

y'know a lot of t his kind of stuff is covered really well in the F1 help. Not that we don't like answering your questions, but just an FYI. :D
