Transparency on nurbs hair plane :)

ello ,
I am trying to create some hair using nurbs planes with transparency maps to help the effect . it looks ok but the transparency maps aren't working properly - as you can see in the following shot you can see ghost like bits where it is supposed to be totally transparent. any ideas? |
if you're using specular, you'll also need a specular map so that it's only specular where the hair is, similar to the thransparancy map.
Also, for accurate shadows, you'll need to use raytracing. |
