Converting Maya 4.5 files to 4.0
 

I have aquired some Maya MB files that are formatted to Maya 4.5. How can I open them in Maya 4.0?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...*S*

Hi JD,

you would either have to open them with maya 4.5 or 5, and then save it as Ma instead of Mb, then you can edit the file, e.g. with Notepad... and then remove a couple of lines... can't remember the exact lines... but e.g. the lines that say's require 4.5 should be removed... :)

you could also use this plugin, rmMaExport... however this requires either Maya 4.5 or 5, aswell... -->
