3dsmax to maya help?
I know this has been asked before but up until now I haven't needed to so i havent taken notice.
How do you export a character rig from 3dsmax to Maya? I have the rig in max and exported it as an FBX file to maya. Unfortunately only the model gets exported. There is no animation attached. I only want the character and the rig? Any help is much appreciated. Thnx in advance :confused: :confused: :confused: |
Its either now intergrated into the plug in manager or you need the bonus tools but the 3ds import shoould do it.

cant find anything in google or the help files.Can anyone point me to a link or help me wih a step by step. It exports but loses the mesh goes triangulated, the rig is gone. arrrghh:confused: |
