Nobody Cries


There once was a man, a dreamer was he,
But a bigger waste of space there never will be.

He was all about himself, every thought, ever action he took,
His kin, his friends were all props to be used in his story book.

When God rationed out all human qualities divine,
This man surely must have been in the back of these lines.

He had no use for women 'cept take them to bed,
And to repeatedly beg their charity to keep roof over head.

Sailing through life on other people's good will,
The kind of man that disappeared in a store when the cashier rung up the bill.

Dancing, drinks and three hundred dollar shoes were a must,
Walk into his house and it surely would be a bust.

Appearence was everything and the parties would never end,
Until when his golden years were no longer just around the bend.

His money didn't go as far, his pockets dried up,
The plastic smiles disappeared, and Oh so abrupt.

His last trips around the sun, he cries "Woe is me!",
He no longer thinks he was cunning, now he sees.

With nothing but time to sit and reflect,
His last days in this realm are filled with regret.

This man lays there waiting as he dies,
No one to send him, and nobody cries.

Hold on dude, I forgot the friggin password.

Vent was alive, as always, teeming with perverts,
What can you do they're all over the servers.

Except for her and I, it was a total sausage fest,
We came, we owned, we even regulated the "best".

We talked, cracked jokes, we'd quest, we'd grind,
It was a nice place to escape when you needed to unwind.

One day she saw my avatar and said "Hey, is that you?"
I said why yes, she replied, "I'll post a pic too".

We talked about boyfriends, we chilled, we chat,
And all times in game we had each others back.

One day from the blue she said, "I think you're hot."
"And I showed my boyfriend, he really likes you a lot."

I thought "Wait, WTF, what the hell was going on?"
Are my eyes deceiving me since its so close to dawn?

I said, "You're kidding." I put her on the spot.
And with a straight face, she said she was not.

From there on out it became a real issue,
Til I said, ciao internet friend, never knew you to miss you...

@ acid Honestly, at one point, I was reluctant to let anyone know I'm female and that was one of the biggest reasons, but I quit that when I realized that its unnecessary. I don't announce it but if they find out they find out and if they change on me then I'll just make myself scarce, I have enough drama, don't need it online too.
