Not too basic pleeeeaaaase....

Yeh hi anyone....

I have a bit of a STUPID problem

I don't know what the equivalent to a 'right mouse button' is on the mac
(nor the middle mouse button for that matter)

I know it's generally crtl click, but doesn't seem to be for maya
I've been doing surprisingly well without it so far tho

lol, especially as my space bar is also broken...
but i've reassigned a hotkey for that

Anyway, the main reason i've encountered trouble is because I need to create and isoparm on a nurb

I believe that's normally done by right clickin and holding

Does anyone know what the equivalent of a right mouse button is for mac's maya? (A mmb will help too :) )
Otherwise does anyone know how else to find the isoparm button?
(Assuming it's not the same as the 'Insert Isoparm' button)

Thanks for your time
Look forward to hearing from anyone! :)

Sean

If you planning to use Maya frequently, then breakdown and buy a three button mouse. I've got five power macs at work and it only cost us about US$120 to outfit them all with good logitech 3-button mice. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

yeah a 3 button mouse is pretty much required.

If you are absolutely set on not buying a 3-button mouse, you can configure Maya to work a single-button mouse. There are preference settings for using modifier keys to mimic right- and middle-mouse buttons.

I'd buy a logitech everytime, as i've never heard anything but praise for them.
