well its a human artery pure and simple
c&c welcome and wanted i would post up the orig(5100x3300, 300 resolution and production qual) but its size was like 40mb link to pic - diff pic ps. why are there smooth patches |
there's a good deal of detailing on the bump maps, also the render is quite dynamic with the positioning of the blood cells. Nice one :)

Good work mate. The only thing that bothers me is the position of a couple of the blood cells (the highest one, not including the one in the foreground and the one which sits directly below it). The left bottom edge on the top one and the right edge of the bottom one are both sitting almost in line with the line which shows the curve of the tunnel / artery. This is a good thing to avoid as it tends to flatten an image. I would move the top one slightly to the left and the bottom one slightly to the right just to break up that edge of the artery. This should make your image a bit more dynamic.

Hello pbman - took me a while as I am stuck at work
:headbang: and so had to dig around for a copy of paint. Anyway, the two red circles in the image below point to the areas that I was talking about. Basically, it's usually a good idea to avoid letting the edges of two objects line up (In this case the edge of your blood cell and the edge of the tunnel), otherwise this can lead to your images looking flat. If I was you I would push the top one to the left and the bottom one to the right, just to break up the edge of the tunnel and make your image a bit more interesting. Hope this helps. Hmmm...Not sure what you mean by fluidy and I don't know how much help I can offer as I have only done some modelling and a bit of texturing.
Maybe if you was to increase the number of blood cells to make it look like they were in a sort of 'river' of blood cells. I would try to add a bit of variation to your models so that they don't all look the same and I would also try to introduce a second cooler colour to your picture just to offset the red. |

I really like ure outta wall texture n bump map looks very nice. But yeah more variation is colour n size should improve it. |

i tried a few things to look lookmore fluidy

It's already looking a lot better - Well done. The increase in blood cells is definitely helping and I think both the particle effect and the fog light could both be used in the final image to good effect. Once you get some variation in the cells this is really going to come together.

i wanted to combine the two for a test but wen i do the partices the fog light dissappears
i am using light linking for the first time so ill have to se if i have made a mistake here i am working on the colour a bit more for the cells - might look on highend 3d at theirs to see other ways of doin it |
