Lips... A Little Problem

Hi! :)

I finally figured out how to get the basic shape for my lips but I need to know how to finish my character's mouth. I need to close off the inside somehow... to give him a mouth cavity and al that jazz. As of right now, his lips just sort of go rounded and then stop. Any clues would be highly appreciated! :)
