There are excellent ones at Digital Tutors, though you have to pay for them. I haven't bought them (someone gave them to me) so I'm not sure of the price. I think it's called the Character Setup Kit, and it is very good, thorough and detailed.

just do your own, it will be easier and you'll understand it better

I use basic guy and set up machine rigs atm.
You can make your own but if you just want to get good at animation then dont bother learning to rig imo, all depends though.

Dude, wait till you see the animation mentor one, you will litterally wet yourself at how good it is.

thanx jay but im an animator not a rigger 'hence the question anyone know of any good rigs?

i may model and rig a character in the up and coming months, but im devoting all my time to character animating. Thanx for your advice though
