Autocad/Maya import-export dilemma
 

Can anyone help me out with this? Heres the senario-

I create a poly cube for instance and lets say its 3'x3'x3'
and export that to autocad. I measure that cube in autocad and it
is the correct size.

I now create a poly cube the same size 3'x3'x3' in autocad and export that
to maya. When imported the size of the cube is huge. I know it has something to do with the scale
but as I am in the process of learning Maya still, any info would be appreciated.
