raytracing and glow
 

is there any way to use shader glow effect with a raytraced image? when using the maya software renderer without raytracing, it looks fine, but then when i raytrace, it looks like a normal shader, no glow.

might just be normal, but would love to know how to get a juicy glow that gets reflected in say... a helmet visor or something neat like that.

you have to make this in post process..

All of Maya's post effect will not get reflected, refracted - this applies to :

Glow
Fur
paintFX
