Program Hangs
 

Just recently after installing Mental ray and new detonators, Maya (4.5) seems to hang on closing down, the computer doesn't hang, only Maya refuses to shutdown, i can shut it down via the 'task manager' but this only leaves me with a blue screen to deal with on shutdown, the error is-----

STOP (00000000,00000002,00000000,0xe1993a7f) IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

Could this be a driver issue?

geforce2 3d prophet gts 32mb

could be... MR shouldn't be the problem...

what drivers did you install and what Graphics card do you have?

i've DX8.1
with a geforce2 3dprophet (open gl not supported)
with 41.09 detonators

ive recently discovered that the blue screen can appear even when not using Maya :( although Maya is the only app that actually hangs, so it must be driver or memory related, any suggestions appreciated but thanx anyways for the reply, but i think this is more a windows/nvidia forums.
