maya 2008 on Mac g5 --> what card?
 

Hi,

I'm looking to replace the stock Ati 98000 pro mac edition that came with my G5.

Only options are the Ati x800 AGP and Nvidia Geforce 6800.

I hear Nvidia usually does better at openGL performance, but the x800 cames on top in all reviews I've seen (mostly for game fps etc.)
I'm not into games though, and want to get smooth realtime Maya playback and timeline scrubbing for animation (skinned characters etc.)

any one can give me some feedbacki on these 2 cards?
