|
that looks soooooo good
cant see any flaws at all  gotta start learning Z_brush. keep up the excellent work man  |
1 crit, upper lip creasy indenty thing is too sharp, but thats all! lol
|
He kinda looks like he's suffering from an allergic reaction to medication? A bit on the "puffy" side; but maybe you're gonna fix that in the detailing?
Perhaps he just ate a peanut that didn't agree with him? Also, I keep expecting to see that occipital bump at the base of the skull, just a touch at least. And I also have to agree with the lip comment that Joopson made. Other than that, pretty superiffic. ;) |
thanx for comments. the lips are fixed by now. this was just the start.
and the occipital bone is there. maybe its not too pronounced. ill post some updates soon. im detailing him now. |
this is after detail pass.
only about 1.7 mil polys. [i've hit as much as 4 mil sometimes, but i was able to get enough details on him only at this level. ] some areas look odd, and i dont like; like the eye bags, but its that way by design. other awckward characteristics, but its going to look good when textured and rendered i think. just the right tone... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...eadZBDone1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...headZBDone.jpg |
huh, looks just like one of my friend's dad!
|
Looks good so far. I'd work on the nostril area a bit though. I think the nostrils should point more towards the sides rather than straight down.
|
yea. some things i will tweak before i start texturing. and make it less symetrical and pose him a bit.
ill flare out the nostrils more. edit: added some bumps and pimples and spots. flared nostril a bit http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../headTweak.jpg |
i started soem painting in zbrush.

Better. Maybe round the edges of the nostrils a bit? They still look a bit like they were "drilled in".
|
nice, you make your own alpha for skin pores and wrinkles?
|
Vlad,

vlad- I swear that looks just like a friend of mine's dad.
