Greetings folks,

I found a site that someone has spent time scanning all of the lego kit instructions since the early seventies into. So I thought I would make something lego-esque to celebrate this persons patience and love of lego.

If I remember right, theres actually a program that makes the lego into a model, and you can export it and import into Maya. I dont remembe the name of it or anything, but Brian E. (sorry, Im not even about to attempt to spell his name out...) did it awhile back. ....but thats if my memory is right.

Cheers DJbLAZER & I-Iybrid,

I have not heard of any lego building programs, it would have made this a little easier!! As for the site, give this text a click and you will be magically transported there.

Take it easy,

Mat.

I think you're looking for LDRAW. Haven't tried it but I've heard of it. Here's a tut fron Okino on LDRAW...

Thanks a bunch, I've been looking for Lego blueprints for AGES! Anyone else looking might be interested in this site

This is really cool! I was thinking of doing a lego model myself some time back I just couldnt find the time for it.

Thanks folks,

I've taken a look at LDRAW and it would have made things soooooo much easier, it would appear that it has a library of all lego parts. I had to measure lego blocks with a tape measure that I got from a christmas cracker!!

cheers again,

Mat.

I'm gonna try LDRAW now too, and make on of the models I had '81 or '82 that I found on the blueprints page.

Hey guys, just as reference do a search in these forums for Lego. You will be surprised on the amount of stuff you will see. I remember about a year it seemed like we went lego crazy on this site. Loads of fun. I should get back into.
