Or to do it quicker, use the picture below :) Cheers, Leo:) |
hi shadeblade:
let me rephrase my question: how do u make for example a ball go up and down over say 50 frames but the animation of the ball going up and down is say 5 frames. meaning repeating the bouncing ball animation 10 times. i could copy paste the 5 frames till i reach 50 but isnt there an easier way like puting the 5 frame animation in a seperate timeline and link it to the 50 frames in the main timeline. thanks a lot for replying to my question btw. i appreciate it |
Ah, I see. I'm afraid I'm not too sure about how to do that. I'm very sure that it is possible to be able to copy and paste frames though.
I'll check this out, and if I come across a solution, I'll be sure to post it here if someone else already hasn't.:) Cheers, Leo:) |
Select the object in question. Open the animaiton graph editor. Select the curve that represents the motion you want to cycle. Right click on this curve, from the pop-up select curves>post infinity. Then select the option that best matches your needs, most likely "cycle."

You can select a range of frames in the time line and duplicate and paste them, there a bouncing ball at chalmerw media lab (.com or something) that tells you how to do it.
