crap lecturer
 

hi
i'm doing my final year at university, and i have to say that the teaching standerds of the lecturer's are beyond sh*t .
i asked one my lecturers a question, and his reply was " how the hell should i know" those were his exact words.
If he doesn't know the answer then he clearly isn't fit to be teaching, the guy makes out he's the master of using Maya well i have to say he doesn't know sh*t, that would explain why he's not in the animation industry

And another lecturer of mine looks like a god damn bum, no lie he looks like he sleeps on a park bench some where,

the reason i'm writting this is for the fact that i spent a lot of money to come here only to be tought by a bunch idiots, everything i know in maya i learnt myself NOT FROM THE CRAPY TEACHERS!!!!!

It's unfortunate, but yes, the old adage "those who can't, teach" does ring true in many situations. But there are those diamonds in the rough that are very capable artists and who enjoy teaching others.

But there's also the other way around, very capable artists who just don't know how to teach.

Even if your teachers were the best there is, though, they can only teach you so much. When it comes to things like Maya and art, your own talent and practice is really the main things you will needs to rely on. In my opinion.

thanks for the reply's , but the thing is these "so called teachers "didn't teach us a single thing i mean if your teaching an animation and modeling class i expect you to know what your talking about not keep refering students to web sites to do your job for you, if it wasn't for this site and a a few dvd's i bought, i would be in a heap of sh*t,
i mean it's not as though he's doing it for free i have to pay £1200
thats over $2400 to attent the university each year, get this instead of teaching us the teachers would put on a cartoon and tell us to watch it, i mean what kind of teaching is that?, i could do that at home

7 months from now i'm going to name and shame them so that anyone unfortunate enough to meet them can stay clear of them
